Welcome to the mystery series. First among the mystery series will be the Nine Unknowns. The universe which we know is only 5%, rest is not known to us. Even though there is development in the field of science and technology, only little we know about the universe we live in and similarly the planet Earth.

Likewise, we are unaware of what exists in the deep waters next to us.Similarly, the mountains we visit during the vacation for hiking to enjoy the scenic view. Less we care about the mystery it hidden. We spend most of our time now a days taking photos to post in social Media. Mystery exists everywhere, among these we will discuss few which we never knew existed before.

“Yeah! we know that what you’re trying to say”, this must be your thought. But my dear readers, the mystery this article reveal make you wonderstruck. I didn’t believe it in the starting, later I got curious about the topic and started researching about it. The mystery I am hyping about is ‘ A secret society.’

A Secret society

Secret society means it’s not hundreds and thousands of people staying in a place which is not accessible to humans. Nah! Not about Andaman tribe island – North Sentinel Island. I am telling about a group of highly intelligent people on Earth. It’s a group of Nine people who are well versed in Nine different fields which is very essential for human society.

Who are they? what are they called? who started the society? Well, the name of this secret society is Nine unknowns. Nobody knows about who they are, so they are called Nine unknowns. The great Emperor Ashok started this secret society.

How I came to know about the Nine unknowns?

Well, one day I was browsing the internet like normal people in search for topics for my blog articles. I want to surprise my readers with something new. In the process I happen to see the Nine unknowns which I never heard of before until I started doing my research.

Origin of Nine Unknowns?

Ashoka, the most popular and powerful Emperor of Mauryan Dynasty had an insatiable desire to conquer and rule the Kalinga region. This led to a great war in the Indian history named Kalinga war and it took the lives of many innocent people.

Ashoka won the war but later repents for action. He lost his greed and desire to conquer and rule through war. He undertook Buddhism and became biggest devotee of Lord Buddha, he spread Buddhism, did many great things and acquired the tittle ‘Ashoka the Great’.

One among such is this secret society of Nine unknown people. Ashoka realized if the greatest knowledge known to mankind falls into the hands of wrong people, innocent humans have to pay for the greed of some evil minds. So, he summoned the greatest minds of India at the time and formed a secret society ever known to mankind.

This society was formed 2000 years ago, during 226 BCE (before common ear). Their identity was never relieved to public.

How it functions?

It’s a common doubt how society of nine people exist till now? which was formed around 2000 years ago? They are not super humans with special powers but are brilliant minds who are well versed in nine different fields, each person is expert in one field.

If one among them is not physically well and not able to continue their work or dead, they select another successor who is well versed in that particular field.

It may sound like the Men in black movie franchise. Only difference is that men in black is a fictional story written in recent times. But the society started by King Ashoka had 9 brilliant people who stayed unknown to society to preserve the knowledge from falling into the hands of wrong people.

Talbot Mundy, the author in 1923 published a book ‘The nine unknowns’ in which he mentions the list of nine books and each one is different from one another. Let’s have a look at the Nine books to know about Nine unknowns field of expertise.

Propaganda: Most dangerous subject if understood properly one can rule the world.

Physiology: Main topic in the second book “touch of death” with mere touch one can kill a person. Martial arts, it’s believed that leakage of knowledge from the book gave birth to Judo.
