Every pregnant woman goes through different emotions during pregnancy such as fear, anxiety, happiness, and many more based on the circumstance they face. The beautiful one among numerous emotions is happiness when we hear the baby’s heartbeat for the first time.
An indescribable warmth a mother experiences, when the first time she sees and hears a small life inside her stomach through ultrasound is a blissful moment. The first time I heard my baby’s heartbeat, I was moved to tears of happiness. Womanhood itself is beautiful, becoming a mother makes one’s womanhood even more colorful.
Early Pregnancy Scan
An early pregnancy Scan is a deciding factor to confirm pregnancy. To the woman who is looking forward to becoming a mother, a small brief description about the scan. This scan is done after confirmation of pregnancy either through a blood test or a home pregnancy kit test.
In the second month after 45 to 48 days, beauty of this scan is that mother will hear baby heart beat for the first time, one of the wonderful moments in anyone’s life, first time hearing baby heart beat.
Besides this, the radiologist also confirm the due date and number of embryo present in the womb in this scan. The date will be tentative, delivery may happen two weeks before or two weeks after the due date.
Along with this, doctor also explains the gestation period of the fetus in this scan through some graphical representation. In some places spouse as well can experience the bliss by hearing the heart beat.
Before this doctor will ask few basic details to the pregnant women like when was the last periods date, is it first baby? Did you went to any fertility treatment and so on.
My baby heart beat
I was tensed before the scan, not sure of the scan results at the same time, I was experiencing happiness that I am going to see my bundle of joy ❤️
We were the first patient she saw, doctor was so friendly and understood my mental status during scan and kept me engaged by talking some random things. Like what is my age, what I do, so on to calm me.
After scanning for some time she told a good news that fetus heart beat is fine and made me to listen to it. I was moved to tears after hearing the wonderful sound of my baby’s heart beat.
Till that I was never aware that heart beat sound can be so beautiful and rhythmic. I may sound dramatic but for every new mother, it is music to her ears. Later she explained baby’s growth and upcoming scan details and congratulated me and my spouse for becoming new parents.
Baby looked like a egg yoke to me, doctor explained the scan image in the monitor and also showed me the heart beat of baby and I felt so happy and protective of my cutie pie at same time. After coming out the scan center we shared the good news with the parents. There was no limits for their happiness.
