The most awaited day in my life finally came on June 18th, 2022. Giving birth to a child is one of the most beautiful things in the world. When a woman give birth to a child, both mother and child take birth. The child who was securely staying in the mother’s womb, learns to adapt to the surroundings. They learn how to express their pain and discomfort through crying. Similarly, a new mother whose body is sore with pains post delivery should be ready to meet the requirements of the baby, and also understand their needs.
Not as easy as it sounds when a mother give birth to a child a journey of lifetime begins for both mother and the child. The mother’s responsibilities and the child’s need for a mother’s love are never-ending. Unfortunately most of the husbands by seeing new born enter into a blissful state and forgets to take care of the wife who is equal to newborn. This is where most of the men go wrong. Post-delivery mothers need equal care and affection like the newborn as her entire body will be sore and she will be extremely tired.
My delivery experience
Since, my water level was low, need to do constant scanning to check the improvement of the water levels and the CTG for the fetus. It’s was quite difficult phase as we never know when delivery happens .
Finally, during my last check up doctor advised me to go for delivery soon instead of delaying as it may be difficult to go with normal delivery. Next day I was admitted in hospital and by evening I delivered a beautiful baby girl. But, through c section delivering a baby is never a smooth experience for any mom.
Love at first sight
First time I saw her during operation, she was so adorable from that moment onwards she became my first love. Love at first sight, I never forget that beautiful moments throughout my life.
As mine was C section, I was not able to be with baby properly for three days. I was discharged on the third day and took her in my hands. I was able to walk on my own without anyone’s help. Since I was a new mom, I was not aware of how to breastfeed baby and take care of baby. Hospital staff helped along with my parents and in laws.
Post delivery, my parents and my In laws stayed with me in hospital and took good care of me and baby.
We had a grand welcome party to our princess who stole everyone’s heart with her beautiful smile. Both the families were so happy as she brought not only happiness but also motivation to achieve more in life.
