Hinduism an ancient religion whereas its beginning is unknown till date. Hinduism mainly based on Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, Maheswara). Lord subramya swami is son of lord Shiva. Lord Subramya swami, is widely worshipped in southern India, Singapore and other parts of the world. Lord Shiva as another son as well non other than lord Ganesha.

Narada maharishi visit to kalish
One fine day Narada Maharishi(son of Brahma) adherent devotee of lord Vishnu visit kalish mountain. He present a special golden mango 🥭 to lord Shiva stating who ever eat this golden mango will attain the knowledge of entire universe.
Hearing upon the speciality of the mango lord Shiva started cutting into pieces to give to his sons. Seeing this Narada told only one person should eat the entire mango 🥭 should not cut into pieces.
Circumnavigate the universe
After thinking for a while lord Shiva tells his both the sons(lord Subramya and lord Ganesha).Who ever proves they are eligible to attain this wisdom fruit. They will get it. In order to obtain it both of you should circumnavigate the universe three times. The one who finishes first, will get the fruit which consist the knowledge of whole universe.
Hearing upon it lord Subramya swami was so happy he immediately took off to take a round upon his vehicle peacock. Whereas Lord Ganesha was little bit of sad. He can’t round the universe three times upon his vehicle mouse.
After thinking for a while he started circling his parents cosmic couple. Narada Maharishi who was witness everything got a doubt and questioned his act.
For that lord Ganesha replied” my parents are universe, circling them three times is equal to circling the entire universe”. Upon hearing the his words Narada Maharishi felt happy.
Dejected lord subramya swami
Lord subramya swami returned to kalish after completing three rounds with happiness. Upon seeing lord Ganesha eating mango 🥭 he felt cheated and dejected.
In that anger he left kalish and come to palani hills.One of the holy dham of lord Subramya swami. His parents tried they’re best to pacify the lord. In process the Goddess Pravathi Devi called lord subramya swami palani meaning your the fruit.
The story of holy dham palani, how lord Subramya swami came to palani and stayed their, to bless his devotees.
This divine dham is located in western Ghats, 60kmts from Kodaikanal. The temple is located in mountain surrounded by greenery a surreal experience for devotees. Atleast once in there life time one must visit this holy dham and get the blessing of lord.
