In the 1st trimester there are high chances a women may lose her child. So, one has to be very careful and follow the advice given by doctor strictly, especially for the women who are above 30 and for those who underwent fertility treatment.

For young women there won’t be much problems. The main challenge women face during this period is nausea for everything.

General saying goes like during the last trimester, women can’t sleep much. But in reality throughout the pregnancy there won’t be much of sleep. Some women vomit continuously and won’t be able to sleep at night.

Don’t strain yourself much with work, your body already is going through some new changes.

Eat healthy food, avoid junk food.

Try to take rest as much as possible.

Avoid traveling in bumpy roads.

If you are feeling nausea all the time, take a small walk.

If possible avoid cooking for 3 months until your body adjusts to the new member growing in the stomach.

My experience in the 1st trimester

I was advised to take bed rest during this time due to some medical issues. My nightmare started when I started feeling nausea all the time, some smells really disturb me, felt like vomiting.

Eating food became another big nightmare. Due to god’s grace, I never had severe vomiting. But, had a constant nausea feeling till the 5th month.

Drinking water during this period is a real challenge, I was diagnosed with UTI. Whoever has UTI needs to drink plenty of water. Oh god! Which is a real challenge for every pregnant woman who gets it in 1st trimester.

Somehow I crossed this blues with help of my husband who helped me during the difficult phase of pregnancy and took care of me so well.

Naveen, thanks for the love and care you showered on me during this period which I really wanted. You played all the roles and made me feel happy.
