
Generally after crossing 1st trimester, pregnancy is considered as safe and the nightmare is gone. However, it is not the case with every women, atleast not with me. Mine was never easy in any trimester. Any women out there facing same problems like me don’t worry, you are not alone.
It’s quite boring to read month wise blog. So here is the trimester wise blog articles. One more thing you may be looking for specific food to eat during pregnancy. I am not mentioning about it, already your doctor would have suggested you what to have in the diet along with medicine 💊 based on your test reports.
Besides that parents, in laws, even the maid in home will suggest food to be consumed during pregnancy. So by now you would have been fed-up listening to all these.
Second trimester is considered to be honeymoon period for the pregnant women. As I said it won’t be same every women.
My experience in the second trimester

By listening to others even I thought I will soon overcome this nausea feeling. But I was thrown challenge of omicron. Yes, you heard me right I was infected with omicron in my fourth month.
Fortunately due to god’s grace, me and baby were saved. Unfortunately, my spouse also got it from me as he was nursing me. It took more time for him to heal. Fever reduced for me but I had 3 weeks of cold and cough.
By the time I was recovered from it, 5th month started. It was somewhat okay when compared to first 4 months. After the 5th month anomaly scan, I was very happy since baby’s growth was normal.
6th month was again a nightmare in all the ways both pregnancy wise and in personal level. Doctor suggested blood glucose test followed by CBC. Blood glucose was normal which I was very happy but my happiness short lived as the HB level decreased below 9.
Doctor advised me to take iron injections for almost one month. One of the horrific experience I wish no one should go through such painful thing in their life.
A small suggestion
Take care of your iron levels if you are planning for pregnancy. If you are pregnant, make sure you consume iron rich food in your daily diet.
If you fall in my category where iron tablets are causing stomach cramps and you are vegetarian, don’t worry, try to eat other iron rich food. Still not working, let’s face the pain and take the injections.
